The numbers live in a spreadsheet nobody trusts
One workbook per entity, updated by hand from statements, with no record of where a figure came from. It is right until someone finds a cell that is not, and then the whole thing is in question.
Several entities, dozens of managers, and a quarter that arrives as a folder of PDFs. This is the workspace that turns that into one current picture.
Already in use at a small number of family offices
One workbook per entity, updated by hand from statements, with no record of where a figure came from. It is right until someone finds a cell that is not, and then the whole thing is in question.
Capital account statements, call notices and distribution notices land from a dozen administrators in a dozen formats. Re-keying them is a week of work that produces no insight.
Positions sit in one place and the bookkeeping for each legal entity in another. Reconciling them at year end is an archaeology exercise.
Fund LP and SPV commitments, direct holdings, SAFEs, convertibles and secondaries across every vehicle the family holds, with multi-currency FX so the consolidated view is in your reporting currency.
A full set of books per legal entity: chart of accounts, bank transactions, coding, loans and interest, and an accounting package you can hand to your Steuerberater.
Forward a report to your private address or connect Gmail and Outlook. Documents are parsed into records, every figure traces back to the page it came from, and anything the model is unsure about waits for a human.
Ask what the unfunded commitment is across the family, or have Claude draft the update for the next family meeting. The assistant reads your real data, and any change it proposes needs your approval.
Yes. Positions and books are scoped per entity by row-level security in the database, and access is role based, so a family member, an advisor and an accountant can each see the part that concerns them. Team administration, such as who was invited or whose role changed, is recorded in an audit log that members cannot edit or delete.
No. Most firms start by forwarding one quarter of statements and comparing the result against the workbook they already trust. The point of the audit trail is that you can check us.
It is not written to the portfolio. Low-confidence extractions are held in a review queue until a person approves them, so nothing provisional is ever mixed in with confirmed numbers.
Names of people and entities are replaced with placeholders before anything is sent to a model, and the mapping back stays on our side. AI processing is pinned to the EU and fails closed rather than falling back to another region. Our security page sets out what this covers and what it does not.
We are onboarding a small group of family offices. Tell us how many entities you run and we will show you the workspace with your kind of reporting in it.
