Software built
around numbers.

We are an independent studio designing and engineering software, from data infrastructure to the interface on top of it. Our own product: Wealth Management by Zahlenwerk, portfolio software for family offices.

Zahlenwerk, literally “a work of numbers”. We take the data everyone else finds tedious and turn it into products people actually want to use.

Past work

A workforce allocation dashboard for Airbus

When Airbus wound down its Beluga transport team, Laura built the tooling that re-allocated a 1,000-person organisation. Matching scripts compared every job profile in the group against every other by shared competencies and target level, so each role being retired came with a ranked shortlist of the roles its people could step into.

Salesforce reporting SPREAD AI's sales team actually uses

A reporting tool built on live Salesforce data, including a contact relationship map that sales users actually adopt. Records are continuously out-enriched through Clay and Apex automations, so the picture stays current without anyone re-keying data.

Founder-led.
One standard.

Zahlenwerk Studio is run by Laura Nogales De La Cruz and Lukas Beier from Berlin-Charlottenburg. No account managers, no hand-offs. You work directly with the founders, who scope, build, and take your product to market.

A process engineer and a designer with a go-to-market background: we cover the whole path from messy data to a product people actually use, and to the market it's built for.

Laura turns tangled operations into clean, repeatable systems. A process engineer with an M.Sc. in Digital Transformation, she maps the process, models the data, and makes sure what we ship holds up once real people and real numbers hit it.

About the studio

What does Zahlenwerk Studio do?

We are an independent software studio in Berlin. We design and build data-heavy products end to end, and we run our own finance software, Wealth Management by Zahlenwerk, for family offices and investment managers.

Who is behind Zahlenwerk?

Its founders, Laura Nogales De La Cruz and Lukas Beier, a process engineer and a designer with a go-to-market background. Both work on every project themselves, so there is no layer between you and the people writing the code.

Does Zahlenwerk take on client projects?

Yes. We split our time between client work and our own product. Past work includes workforce tooling for a 1,000 person reorganisation at Airbus and sales reporting at SPREAD AI.

What is Wealth Management by Zahlenwerk?

Our own product: one workspace for LP investments, the books, and the documents behind them, with automatic report ingestion, structured extraction with a full audit trail, and an MCP server that connects a portfolio to Claude and ChatGPT. It is in beta.

Where is Zahlenwerk based?

Berlin-Charlottenburg. We work with clients across Europe, and the site is available in English, German and Spanish.
